Welcome, or welcome back! If you couldn’t tell from my website name, the header line, or the URL, my name is Ellie, and you’re watching Disney Channel.
Let me give a better introduction: I’m a Denver native but I relocated to Chicago about two years ago, where I have been very busy doing hot girl sh*t but also a lot of professional girl sh*t. In college I earned a BFA in Ballet and a BS in Strategic Communications, and after graduating in May 2020 (class of Zoom U, reporting for duty), I did a bit of a career 180 and landed in the digital marketing industry. This blog is actually a 2.0 version of my college lifestyle blog (which no longer exists), with a bit of a personal rebrand.
As I learn to navigate this post-grad, grownup world, I felt like I needed a place to dump my thoughts and feelings. In the coming years I plan to: work my booty off, dive head-first into my career, learn more about myself, have the time of my life, and romanticize as much as I possibly can, while also being a staunch pragmatist. Weird combo, but humor me.
A few other things about me: I’m a true “Zellenial.” Technically, I’m Gen-Z and you won’t catch me dead in skinny jeans or a side part (no hate! all love!), but I’m old enough to have had Sillybandz stacked all the way up my arm in middle school (yes I still have them). Trader Joes is my happy place. I love fashion and traveling, I’m a coffee fanatic, and I am on the hunt for the perfect bagel in Chi. If you know where to find one, slide into my DMs immediately.
